Statistically every social network (be it forums, chats or everything else) contains one or more idiots.
(as we all know that the internet is full of idiots)

Therefore every smart person who takes part in a social network has already argued with idiots

And we all know:
Don´t argue with idiots, as they will drag you down to their own level and win

-> every smart person on a social internet network has already argued with idiots
->every smart person on a social internet network has been dragged down to the level of idiots
-> every smart person now is an idiot
-> idiots will take over the world and win
