No wonder he loves his mother so much.

Kid probably always forgets so Mom took the initiative.

Either that or they have a very unorthodox relationship which I don't really want to know about.

I rang my Mum - she knew who I was so that was a good start. We had a nice chat.

Some days she gets confused, especially if her blood pressure is high - she is 84 or 85. She said she had a nice day. I thought she was getting dementia but it turned out to be very high blood pressure making her woozy and forgetful. Sudden pressure to go the toilet can also make her abrupt. She is from the generation that won't say such things. Ladies don't anyway.

Dad told me about it. Parents can be very secretive about their health even in old age.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

Why did your mum buy you a gift on Mothers Day?
        Because he came for her?

"On" is probably a better word.
To us, it is the BEAST.
