    Saving a faction that is being conquered?

    Hi!

    There are two outcomes to a faction being conquered (total conquest):
    A) Capture and interrogation
    B) Escape with a colony pod

    Is there a way I can get the B to happen?
    I don't have access to either of the factions and have commlink only to the conqueror.
    Conquest happens during commlink disruption.

    This is for a single player game, so reloading is not a problem.

    Not being able to communicate makes your inquiry a tough one..

    In your case I'd say the best option is to attack yourself the conqueror to slow his conquest down until the end of the commlink disruption.

    Then, once you get communications back online you can negociate and ask a ceasefire.

    Or you can exchange a base with the future loser so he's settled in a new area.
