  • People from Texas - San Antonio in particular?

We had people from Texas here, but what about San Antonio? It's in Texas, right? Sorry if I'm incorrect.

However, got some great news from there: http://news4sanantonio.com/m/news/fe...l#.VOfKgMXgHa8

Did Texas do it? With such a small funding? Possibly. I'm not one to say it's not possible. I've read so much about cancer history and about brain cancer to know that this is the trend, most of the promising state of the art research focus on nanotechnology for the drug delivery, after which the drug itself is more... has long term effect, i.e. slow release mechanisms. Some try to find particular peptides or how to give a huge targeted loads, but slow release has the advantage of avoiding the "whack-a-mole" tactics which has failed for all these hundreds of years in surgery, chemo and radiation. So now they're doing these kinds of things. IT's a big competition of course. I believe they use the term cure wrong, but it's not like I care about semantics, really. Having read what a ***** FDA is, I figure if this has passed all the phases, then it's safe, it's effective and it's going to make a loooooot of money. Which is, I think ethically sound. I want to be saved. Yeah. I kind of do. I am in my way to study the research behind this whole thing and if it is sound (as if I have any competence evaluating that but hey I can pretend, I have published! Technically I am a researcher still).

So people of San Antonio, if this hits your papers, can you please scan them? Or if you get more information. I'm not saying go over your daily plans to provide anything, just saying if you happen to bump into something, let me know if you remember and have the time, thank you.

It would be kind of fun though, one thing I promise, if this holds its grounds, I will personally raise the flag of Texas to my yard and keep it there according to flag rules and regulations (if there are any). I will have to see how I can hack the system... obviously even if this proven to be a success, our lame ass regulators will want to do testing and probably have like a 5 year waiting period just in case, adn for the sake of waiting. And then we come into the question of subsidized medicine, meaning it will probably cost a lot, so getting it into our market means every person with this disease gets this treatment. And in the Cancer Game, we're not exactly at the top of the heap. This is very specialised.

So if this proves to be promising, I'll probably just have to get my ass to Texas and somehow smuggle myself in there. Then again, if this gets into EU, I can go where ever and get it done and Finland pays for it. So it's a good system IF it's availabe here in EU region. If not? Well, you rob a bank and go.
    In da butt.

You'll need a sponsor and Texas passport.
      Shouldn't be a problem. You're famous here.

Keep trying the link above. You should be able to see when they start recruiting. So far, nothing yet.

Although there are 2 other studies listed, but not yet recruiting.
