green leaf salad and tuna olive oil and grinded pepper.
      2 minutes = healthy lunch

a bunch of brokoli on the pot for (ok 20 minutes) + 10 minutes patatoes on the microwave + feta + olive oil = healthy lunch

      that's it. Don't know more

If generous, the government could give her a one time voucher for a fitness book with exercises you can do at home (or in a park).
And maybe another voucher for a fitness outfit of her size.
Obviously this woman believes that, for doing sports, shee needs to have a season pass in a gym or swimming pool ...
so, educating her about the fact that you don´t need these things for doing exercises would be a sensible thing to do.
(of course, it is then up to the woman to then really start doing the exercises [and keep on doing them till she has reached healthy weight levels] ... but if her main motivation really is, to stay healthy for her kids, she will do so [and if she isn´t willing to do so, it would be the proof that she just used "staying healthy for her kids" as an excuse to demand more things for free])

It would be good if the government offered a cash incentive for me to lose weight.
She sounds so concerned about her kids.

Meta-analysis pinpoints the price difference of consuming a healthy diet, which could be burden for low-income families but is trivial compared with health costs of eating an unhealthy diet For imm…

              Eating healthier is NOT cheaper.

              Case closed.

Honestly you guys, it takes little more than a simple google search to prove you wrong... almost always.
They evaluated the differences in prices per serving and per 200 calories for particular types of foods, and prices per day and per 2,000 calories (the United States Department of Agriculture’s recommended average daily calorie intake for adults) for overall diet patterns. Both prices per serving and per calorie were assessed because prices can vary depending on the unit of comparison.
Yeah, vegetables do cost more per calorie. But she's obviously eating way too many calories.

Re the op, she's clearly a lazy ******. A while ago they started making school have healthy lunches, and a group of dumb ****s started bringing chips and burgers to their kids through the school gates because their fat stupid kids didn't like healthy stuff. This woman was probably one of them.

I've argued here many times that eating healthily isn't a cheap option and time and access wise it's not always possible for poor families. That doesn't mean however that it's the ONLY reason people don't eat healthily. Sometimes people are just too ****ing stupid to look after their own children and their own health properly.

Just admit you're wrong and this will be over.

Just say "I am a dumbass. I made an ignorant comment without having all the facts".
