Well if Berserker and Kentonio didn't blame Jeseus what's the point of this thread?

There is no point to this thread, it's a typical Ben 'look at me' thread.

you didn't answer my question in that thread either
I wasn't clear it was a serious question. Jesus gave his life as a substitutionary sacrifice for everyone. He knew he was going to die. I don't see how exposure to ebola would qualify as anything. If I were a healthcare professional who was trained it would enter the realm of possibility that I would choose to go. Then it's a decision where:

1, my service to other people in Liberia would supercede my service to friends and family back home. Me working and making money here helps them out and me dying of Ebola means they no longer have this. I'd have to pray about it and ask if it were my calling to go.

2, I'm not a healthcare professional. Therefore not worth the cost of travelling to the hot zone.

3, even if I were a healthcare professional - how would deliberate exposure to ebola here help anything? I won't assist the quarantine. The only thing that's really needed is cleanup which they've now done, and that's the job for locals. .

4, since I'm not a healthcare professional, deliberately exposing myself to ebola is just plain dumb. What would that accomplish.

5, that's not even taking into account the risks to other people's lives, as a teacher to my students and to my school.

                    so was Jesus irresponsible?

and I thought God did away with human sacrifice in Abraham's time

I'd suggest a good cheese pairing, but this whine is of too poor vintage. Guess I'll have to go with Kraft Singles.

It'd be funny, only you'd probably pair a good vinage wine with kraft singles anyway
