I started the debate. I default to American political standards when talking about American politics, and anyone who doesn't do so is basically Hitler.

The American political landscape, on economic issues, has moved to the right. Hell, Obama's "socialist" health plan originally came from the Heritage Foundation. If you want to simplify things, it was further to the right than Bob Dole's plan.

Globally, every developed nation has universal health care. That's not a left-wing position. It's the norm.
