I don't know if these is a new movement, but it certainly has been getting a lot more activity lately. Perhaps in response to many of the stricter drunk driving laws some states have passed. Frankly, I have no sympathy for them. Their arguments too often fall into fallacies such as "I drove drunk and didn't get into an accident, therefore drunk driving doesn't cause accidents" as if the mere act of drunk driving itself isn't wrong.

Insurance companies have rules for a reason. You were at fault. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.
Yeah, the other driver lied and said I ran a stoplight. Only, there was no stoplight. I even offered to drive the claims adjuster through the intersection but he was 500 miles away, he didn't know and didn't care.

Driver rear ended me. There was no stoplight involved, he was driving too fast and slid into me. I'm not sure how I'm at fault... I had to slow for a construction zone.

So in other words you've never used pot, and you're also not a scientist who has researched its effects, and have no basis for guessing whether pot makes someone unfit to drive and what dosage of pot is necessary to make someone unfit to drive a car.
Uh, I've had a pot user drive my car and get arrested, twice actually. Not a pot fan. Had to get car out of impound and both times the user, unsurprisingly, refused to pay. "User" is right.

It's gotten so it's almost the first question I ask now if I'm dating someone. Are you a pot user? Check, please.

All Ben's stories are the same: Ben does something wrong. "It's not my fault!"

First and only accident I've been in almost 20 years of driving. Road was slick, inattentive ******* banker was inattentive, didn't see me and the construction zone around the corner. I slowed as road was bad and workers were there. Middle of nowhere. Banker notices, I try to drive into ditch. ******* banker slides, but I almost get out of the way. Clips my bumper, his headlight pops out, and I'm ok.

******* jumps out and starts screaming at me. I tell dispatcher to inform my delivery that his dinner will be late. ******* banker insists on 'following me' to my last delivery for the night, after we've exchanged information. I should have called the police as soon as he threatened me. With more experience, that's what I would have done, but I was pretty young then. Just 21.

Anyways, he followed me and I left to go home at end of shift. Next morning I call insurance and they inform me that he called them the night before and said I ran a stoplight and hit him. 100 percent my fault and nothing I could do about it at the time. Who are you gonna believe, 45 year old banker or some 21 roadjockey? I got ****ed. Not a fan of ICBC.

So why don't you hate bankers?

It's unfortunately a mistake I repeated (trusting a pot user with my car unaccompanied). Now it's the first question I ask if I'm dating someone. I've found pot users in general to be spectacularly untrustworthy. If I'm gonna be with someone, I want to be able to trust that you'll be able to drive my car whenever and that you're not gonna get it impounded. You know - basic things like that.

I have plenty of experience driving under the influence, when I'm drunk pot makes me less reckless and more cautious

                            here ya go, Ben

From promoting appetite in chemo patients to potentially protecting the brain from trauma caused by a concussion, there are plenty of medical marijuana uses.

Now that Colorado and Washington have successfully legalized weed, others states are already wondering if they can do the same. But many are forgetting a crucial argument in favor of marijuana legalization: its health benefits. Because marijuana is…

I'm not even a fan of doctors having control over our medicine, I sure as hell dont support Ben and politicians making my medical decisions while preaching to me about freedom
