I guess there's no reason not to pick it up now ... I never did get SMAX. Mainly because I didn't know it existed. Back then I had no internet and my knowledge of available computer games came from the software store in the mall 50 miles away.

You will not want to use it for long, because the game is not so charming that it doesn't loose luster when it's too easy - six months entertainment, at the outside, unless you switch to something tougher.
