I'm playing a game of the original Sid Meier's Colonization (DOS) on Viceroy difficulty, and every time I lose to a native American unit, my unit is getting annihilated! Instead of the usual situation where the unit gets routed, it just disappears. Is this normal for Viceroy level? I've played on Viceroy before and I loaded up that game again, and my units were not getting annihilated when they lost, just routed. Does anyone know why units might be getting annihilated?
