We were down for 1,5 day b/c our dns registrar had expired and was still on the name of one of the former owners.
Things like this always happen at days like my birthday, so that's why it took me so long to re-organize things, for which I apologize.

Now I can't think of anything that's still listed on the name of any of the former owners, but perhaps the internet will surprise us again.

Today, we had a problem with a table of our MySQL database, I could repair that table and took the forum offline to repair also the search index table. I am sorry for the inconvience.

Again, a table in our MySQL database crashed and needed some serious repair. This time it was the post table, I closed the forum since the threads were empty and an open forum could have caused more problems while I was repairing it.

Thanks for fixing it! I assume the intermittent 'database error' on posting/edits will fix itself with time?

When viewing the (sub)forum, the threads aren't getting bumped. I saw this one through the last thread feature when viewing Miscellaneous, for example.

database error that's not very specific and it is only displayed after a thread reload. Let's see what I can do here. I hope I don't have to take the forums offline again.

I thought myisamchk is supposed to fix tables, not to break tables that are usable but should be fixed. So I was again at the post table, the search index and some cache tables, fortunately the last stuff is dispensable.
