People may disagree on the merits of Colin Farrell's acting (I think he's decent), but Arnie was NOT an actor. Bodybuilder, politician, line reader, yes. Actor, no.
In all fairness, he got better as he went along. I think he did OK in 'True Lies". But yes, never a great actor.

I don't hate him at all. In fact, I think he was more or less perfectly cast as the Terminator.
Assuming the role of a terminator has never required extensive acting skills. ex. Summer Glau.
