PS For Oerdin: Massachusetts Commission’s finding: Romney left Bain in '99

    • “The reason he was on the filings is that he was technically with the firm,” the official told CNN.
Did he leave Bain or not?

He lied because he didn't want to be associated with Bain's outsourcing for political reasons but given that Romney's sole claim to being better than Obama is the claim that he knows the economy better so his business policies of outsourcing are fair game even if he'd prefer no one look at the record.
FCC? You're in over your head, but good for you, using big boy words like 'felony.'

AS preseident of the UNited States my duty would be the citizens of the US and no one else and I would protect your interests now in the same manner etc etc
Hey wait! Not every citizen of the United States is a shareholder! In fact a sizable portion of our T bonds are held by ............................... CHINESE!!!

O........ M.......... G........... That means that if Mitt Romney becomes President he'll be honor bound to run the US government for the benefit of China!

He "retroactively resigned" in 2002 back to 1999 according to one of Romney's spokesmen.

            • I still think this is a stupid issue that shouldn't be news, but this is how I would address it if I were the Obama campaign: Okay, he wasn't making the decisions, but he was still getting paid $100,000/year to be "CEO" of the company. That means he was profiting from sending jobs overseas. Evil bad man! (Note: I think this is a stupid argument, but better than the one currently being made.)

You know what. If he actually was running Bain in any meaningful way while at the same time as dealing with the time demands of setting up the Olympics, isn't that a very good argument to vote for him? Superpowers would be useful to have in a President.

Actually Boomers (SS trust fund) and the Federal Reserve are the majority shareholders in this case.

                      • I wish I could ask Romney how he can claim to be a patriotic American while he keeps his wealth in off-shore accounts.
