    I'm going to just guess Final Fantasy Adventure or Final Fantasy Legends for the Gameboy. Never played either as I never had a GB growing up, but I've heard of them and that character doesn't look much like Link to me.

    A Link to the Past was SNES. It would have to be Link's Awakening or some such. I guess it looks sort of like Link, and maybe those are rupees...darn fugly GB graphics.
