    Regardless of actual cause, the simple question for most people comes down to "am I better or worse off then before".
    Where to assess blame, POLITICIANS period. People will always vote the own interests. Sometimes they don't see what that is.

      I'm fairly certain that isn't the question the Obama camp wants voters asking when they cast their ballots. Hence the nonsense wrt the "Forward" slogan.

      As for the question in the OP, no as he's clearly very good at launching negative ads if the Republican primary isn anything to go by.
