I don't have it. I want to know for a fact that it will work on my PC. The beta was trying to fry my 1GB video card.

Diablo III picks up the story twenty years after the events of Diablo II. Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal have been defeated, but the Worldstone, which once shielded the inhabitants of the world of Sanctuary from the forces of both the High Heavens and the Burning Hells, has been destroyed, and evil once again stirs in Tristram. Playing as a hero from one of five distinct character classes, players acquire powerful items, spells, and abilities as they explore new and familiar areas of Sanctuary and battle hordes of demons to safeguard the world from the horrors that have arisen. Diablo III features a custom 3D-graphics engine to render lush indoor and outdoor areas of Sanctuary with a high level of detail and vivid special effects. The game's physics-enhanced environments are interactive and destructible, offering traps and obstacles that create added danger for players and monsters alike. These elements, along with a new quest system and random scripted events, have been integrated into the game’s random-level generator, giving Diablo III the ultimate combination of dynamic gameplay and replayability. Cooperative and competitive play are available online through an upgraded version of Blizzard Entertainment’s renowned online gaming service, Battle.net. [Blizzard Entertainment]

              Maybe Diablo fried their computers?

I heard the game is really really short. Like 3 hours from start to finish. Is that true?

It took a couple hours to run through the beta, and that didn't really seem like it was even scratching the surface. You could run Act I faster than I did, but there's definitely more than 3 hours to the full game.

                  Okay it's 7 hours.

Two groups have beaten Diablo 3 in a mere seven hours, playing on the Normal difficulty setting.

Really? It's still a point and click game, still 15 year old gameplay.

                    ACK!

Well I got it but now the servers are down.

But browsing, I found out the game looks like this? What?

I've only played with the monk on normal difficulty but I have yet to die and I'm presumably half-way through Act 2. The monk is probably a good hardcore character.

Cyclone strike to bring enemies around you then a lashing tail kick is very effective.

How exactly do the "combos" on the monk work?

If I understand correctly if you manage to make consecutive hits that counts as a "combo" and each new hit does some extra damage or some other bonus thing.
Is this correct? Where can I see the "bonus" effects for the various attacks?
