  • The law also cuts the number of days for early voting and no longer allows voting on the Sunday before Election Day.

In the South many, many black church groups used the Sunday before the election as a way to remind people to vote and to arrange carpools to take people down to the polls to do early voting. Why did Florida specifically make it illegal to do early voting on the Sunday before an election? Simple. Republicans want to decrease the number of black people who vote because blacks don't vote for them.

Republicans used to love early voting and were a big part of why early voting laws were passed back in the 80's and 90's back when it was mostly elderly white people who such laws helped. Now lots of minorities have gotten organized and are taking advantage of the opportunity to vote which early voting laws provide so now Republicans all want to decrease or eliminate early voting and make it harder to register. It's all about voter suppression and everyone knows it.

That's voter registration fraud, dumbass, not voter fraud. No one showed up at the polls claiming to be Mickey Mouse and trying to vote. BTW ACORN was the one who caught this & called the cops plus the people ACORN turned in were attempting to defraud ACORN (trying to get them to pay for signatures they didn't actually gather) so this is classic victim blame.

I thought churches were supposed to be apolitical. I guess black churches are allowed to be political as long as they tell their congregations to vote for people you support.
        John Brown did nothing wrong.
