What is spec?

I like having as many windows available as I can.

I have:
processing going on in between one and five
looking at code going on in 2-3
one coding project going on in another
graphs/plots figures that I am trying to make sense of that is related to the coding project
building going on in another (maybe two)
another coding project going in another
a couple of papers I am reading
websites with information about science
websites with information about programming
websites with specific information for the part of the project I am currently working on
note taking software (currently evernote)
often powerpoint/keynote
gmail
apolyton
skype (work chat and girlfriend)
irc

Some of it can be on different desktops. But it is nice to be able to have 3-5 windows in one space.

My usual setup has a laptop screen (Win 7) with papers/evernote/skype (15 inch)
Another laptop screen (OS X) with a terminal/evernote/keynote/chrome (13 inch)
My desktop screen (24 inch widescreen) which seems too small, I usually have a virtual machine up with 4-5 desktops (each desktop having 3-5 terminals), I usually have chrome in the background (windows) here too

I would love to have more space.
