It's good but you guys are way overinvolved in a stupid show that nobody watches. I liked the recent one where there were different timelines.

I'm relatively sure Community is destined to go the way of Cougar Town after this season.![]()

Chevy Chase slams "Community" in new rant

(CBS News) The behind-the-scenes drama at "Community" continues.
A week after series creator Dan Harmon apologized for making an angry voicemail from cast member Chevy Chase public, their feud is making waves again because of a new leaked recording.
In the audio, obtained by Celebuzz, Chase calls the show a "f---ing mediocre sitcom."
"I want people to laugh and this isn't funny," he continued. "It ain't funny to me because I'm 67-years-old and I've been doing this a long time. I've been making a lot of people laugh - a lot better than this."
According to the website, the message is purportedly from March 2011, during the show's second season, and Harmon is playing it for production executives.
Chase expressed frustration in the recording over editorial decisions made on the show, complaining that his material was cut short in favor of romantic storylines.
"Obviously, you don't get my humor at all," he told Harmon. "Or what it is I do that's funny, that actually makes people laugh."
"I think your writing is great. I think everything you do is great," Chase continued. "But the real problem is, Dan, that you're not there when we shoot and you're not there when they edit so you don't even know what you have. You've got to give me some range."
A spokesman for Chase told Celebuzz that the voicemail was from a year ago and would not comment on it.
Tensions between the actor and Harmon first became public when Harmon played a profanity-filled voicemail from the actor. He later apologized for leaking the message.
"I made the horrible, childish, self-obsessed, unaware, naive and unprofessional decision to play someone's voicemail to me," Harmon wrote on his blog last week. "That was a dumb, unclassy, inconsiderate move on my part. I'm very sorry it's reflecting poorly on the show."
NBC has not yet said whether it will bring "Community" back for a fourth season.
...if this is from over a year ago, what's the point in releasing it now?
"We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work...After eight years of this Administration, we have just as much unemployment as when we started... And an enormous debt to boot!" — Henry Morgenthau, Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Treasury secretary, 1941.

All this crap is just making it less likely the show gets another season![]()

Are you kidding? This is generating publicity and will attract people interested to see if any of the Harmon/Chase tension bleeds over into the show, thus making a fourth season more likely.![]()

You can take off that "darkest timeline" goatee now -- NBC has renewed fan-favorite comedy "Community" for a 13-episode Season 4.
This news comes on the heels of a similar order for another of NBC's Thursday night comedies, "30 Rock," which was renewed for a seventh and final season of 13 episodes earlier today. "Parks and Recreation" is rumored to be getting that same order, but nothing has been officially announced yet.
So we got the season pickup -- pop, pop! -- but we won't know when these 13 episodes will air until NBC unveils its fall schedule at their Upfronts presentation next week. These shows could either air in the fall, as usual, or be held until midseason (January 2013) to give some new comedies a chance.
Comedy Central secured the off-network syndication rights for "Community" earlier this year, and these additional 13 episodes will only add to the revenue that deal will bring NBC and Sony.
"Community" recently lost their showrunners -- Garrett Donovan and Neil Goldman signed a deal with 20th Century Fox, so they'll no longer be executive producers on "Community" going foward -- but EP and creator Dan Harmon and EPs Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Gary Foster and Riss Krasnoff are all still on board.
What do you think "Community" fans? Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool news right?

That is the opposite of the opposite of Batman.
Last night's episode was the tits. Dr. Garrett wanting to see what would happen when he took a pen had me laughing for a solid two minutes straight.

Just started watching this show. Unless the main characters are egregiously stupid, I'm confused as to how it can last more than two seasons.

What, have you never heard of time dilation?
Do not take anything I say seriously. It's just the Internet. It's not real life.

Is Greendale Community College located in a strong gravitational field or traveling at relativistic velocities?

They actually reference exactly that question in the most recent episode, Lori.

Well then, I suppose I have some catching up to do.

Just watched the finale. Great send-off to a great show.![]()

It'll be back, but it won't be the same show for the reason Guy just mentioned.
I'm confident the show will still be great, however, even without the ambition and borderline genius/insanity Harmon brings to the table. The cast is certainly talented enough to keep the show going strong even as it changes direction.

Oh, darn.![]()
