I changed it up this week. I had four guys on bye week and rather than sell and re-buy each one I sold all and then re-bought. Didn't get the week win (though I came in second) but it worked out well. Best I've done since I started doing it.

I was correct in picking the Seattle defense this week. Got 27 points from them, more than any of my position players, even Cam Newton. Still not enough to win the week, but enough to stay in second place.

I knew that but only a couple of teams with one or two players left and won't make a big difference in standings. Maybe I'll post again tomorrow since Ming has not done it in a while on any of the fantasy stuff.

And I just figured that Hanie would be his usual self again. I didn't even pick Bears in pick em.

Standings have been getting posted in the FF thread (ColdWizard has been doing it iirc).

I just think it makes more sense to wait for the actual final results, esp. since they are posted so seldom. No big deal though.

Final weekend and I have no idea what to do, I have a reasonable shot at 2nd place with a good final weekend, but as it stands right now, of my 8 players, 5 of them are either Questionable (3) or Probable (2) for Sunday.

Smart move would probably be to replace them, but I am unlikely to have as good a team/players, if I replace. If I thought even close to the 5 of them were going to play, I would likely keep them, but given the difficulty who plays week 17 (teams out of it arn't likely to push an injured player to play injured, teams clinched are even less so), it has me stumpted.

And congrats to Deviations, winning the week for the 6th time this season and completing a thorough pwning of the rest of the Poly Cap League -- almost 150 ahead of 2nd place. His total of 1,514.43 is in the 99th percentile nationally, within striking distance of the top 50 list (1529 was 50th, 1598 was first overall).

I did the best I have done so far, coming in third. Goofed up the past couple of weeks with my defenses otherwise might have beat JR for 2nd. But I'll take that result.

Though if I had known I was that close to the top overall, I would have paid more attention and not played McCoy this week when he was inactive. :/ This was seriously a week of video game numbers:

Stafford: 520 yds, 5 td
Rice: 199yd, 2td
Cruz: 178yd, 1td
Megatron: 244yd, 1td (how do you get 244 yards and only 1 td?)

Even got a TD from Celek and 20 points from the Bears defense. Week 17 was ridiculous all around.
