  • I had Hicks in at least one league last year. He did well for me.

You're a ******. If you are right because of injuries, that's some bull**** but still, no way in hell is Davone Bess going to have a better year than Miles Ausin, anyway. That part was the mental retardation.

Note I didn't show any incredulousness regarding Vincent Jackson, though I noted you were wrong through the first two weeks. It's your other prediction that elicited a response from me. Davone Bess is the #2 on a Henne-led offense. Marshall will get his, Bess will share the scraps with Brian Hartline. There's not enough balls to compare to Miles Austin, even sans 4 games. Good luck with that.

Uh, dude, I just dealt the guy just before he got injured. I'm happy.

All he does is catch balls. He was what, 4 for 42 last game? Those ain't bad numbers.

            • My first pick in both leagues was Jamaal Charles. Not a happy camper.

It could've been worse. You could have drafted Peyton Manning.

                • How is that worse? Charles is done for the season, Manning might be back this season.....some seems better than none to me (unless you think he won't be back and will just take up a roster spot until they IR him.....in which case Manning would be worse than Charles)

                  /me

                  • He won't be back. If the Colts had a shot at the playoffs, they might bring him back in time for the fantasy playoffs but Peyton will be a little out of it so he wouldn't be worth starting in fantasy... but anyway, we've seen how the Colts are without Peyton and I'm reminded of Jim Mora: "Playoffs?!"

Also, I don't think a comparable QB will just emerge from the waiver wire. Peyton was a top-3 QB in most leagues last year and you won't get near that production out of Rex Grossman, Cam Newton, or whoever else is the hot commodity right now at the position. I contrast that with RB where guys like LeGarrette Blount and Ryan Torian won fantasy games for people though they weren't even on NFL rosters to start the 2010 season, let alone fantasy ones.

So my point is Charles is replaceable if you're smart. Peyton isn't.

                    • If Indy is deep in the tank -- as it appears they will be -- there's no way they will risk Peyton in the last few games.

He is as good as on IR right now.
