What is life if it is without honour? Carthage has proven again how worthless they are. Not only they disregarded the fist phase of our NAP-which we might had understood if it's in he defense of the romans- but broke the NAP which protected the core lands and razed two of our cities.

"it is time for us to show the true power of Egypt, it is our duty to wipe the earth of the Carthagian scum. it's time to start drafting a bit.."

we Carthaginians stand by our agreements.
The biggest joke of all times we have ever heard

No drawn-from-the-аss-arguments or worthless pathos will ever be able to wash away the ugly stain of being disgusting liars and cowards. We wonder do Carthage can actually win a battle if he is not attacking from ambush breaking his word? We wonder how the Sun will go shine in Carthage now when there are no NAPs left unbroken anymore? Lately Carthage was breaking every agreement he made so meticulously, so we started to suspect it is some kind of ritual or instinctive routine like inhale-exhale but it seems treachery is so deep in Carthage's mindset that they just cant control themselves.

But after all it is no wonder they came so low as to breaking the last their oath - otherwise they would have awaken the very next turn without servants as all of them have already individually asked for terms of surrender and betraying their coward and untrustworthy master. Who would willingly obey such masters?

Carthage officials have been asked repeatedly to open a second front in the south; as the pressure on the Hungarian frontline has been mounting these last few years.

Now, after the Debacle of Pecs, we see no other alternative as to accept the vasalization of Rome, and to open this second frontline. We know the upcoming years will be hard. And many will fall, but civilization as we know it is at stake.

My first reaction to the hard blow you dealt us, was: now the game is over..

Then I decided that a lot of fun can be had by going overboard, as the time has come. The time that the only way to have even the slightest chance for survival is that we must do the unexpected and make sure we gain time, destroy units and strike hard. So that is what we'll do.

It seems we can stop the invasion in Rome for now, via the south at least. And I know Egypt is going to come hard and fast. So let the firestorm come, that we may purified by the flames or perish by them.

    PS. My in-game opinion of you all is that you are the scum of the earth;
my OOC opinion is that you rock!

We, Bulgarians have always fought against all odds with stronger and more advanced enemies and yet we have outlived our enemies till now. Dont expect to break this tradition especially for you.

We have always and still stand tall as a men.

Pity and shame on the Roman bent-kneel servants of the treacherous Carthage!

OOC: Even in-game we do rock, as we had never broke a NAP nor ever payed with evil to those who have done good to us.

The Persian "king" sat in his soaring blimp, if blimps can be said to soar. "It is time, Xerxes," he said in the sternest of ways.

    "For my popcorn."

"Oh, also, be a good lad and inform everyone that we are no longer neutral. Thanks."

It's not that easy (unfortunately :P ). I think the game is far from over. You lost more so far but it was somewhat expected, you invaded us. We lost less units but many of our cities are razed and we have less advanced/productive civs on our side. Even after this victory we can't hope an imediate counter attack to have any succes.. and what the future holds.. we will see.

The game is far from over. In fact you still lost nothing but armies (And human beings we do not care about because democracy is for pussies).

Still you gave at least Hungary quite a blow.
Well, of course you also helped us. We now have most probably the most well promoted army on earth.

Remember the bloody history of the Hungarian Wars
Somewhere 3000 BC: Bulgaria invades Hungary, peace is made by negotiations
Somewhere 2900 BC: Greece invades Hungary, Hungary slays the Greek and takes Sparta
Somewhere 2800 BC: Rome invades Hungary, Hungary slays the Romans
Somewhere 500 AD: Greece invades Hungary, Hungary slays the Greek
Somewhere 800 AD: Greece invades Hungary, Rome breaks the NAP, the Roman army is destroyed, Greece is vassalized
Somewhere 200 years ago: Persia/Ottomans invade Bulgaria/Hungaria, Bulgaria/Hungaria destroy the Persians and the Ottomans
Somewhere now: Rome once again breaks it's NAP, so does Carthage, Portugal joins the fun against Hungary. Again the entire invasion force is completely annihilated and Hungary wins again.

That's quite a lot of promotions. Thanks.

All I hope is that the game won't end in a nucleair holocaust.
I love it how we're playing this chess-game of tactics and brave invasions.
Just firing of nukes is imho the most boring way to end the game. It may help a nation to win. But is it fun? IMHO it is not. Just saying.

Pity and shame on the Roman bent-kneel servants of the treacherous Carthage!

Senate of the Roman Republic in accordance with the consuls and army command does everything necessary for the protection and prosperity of the Roman people, we do not need anyone's unfortunately, we have chosen themselves and the way it will go up. The Roman people are firmly behind their leaders.

Hungary brought a smile back to Roman leaders. We wonder why Geza not provide statistics and fraud committed against Rome. During the first war between Rome and Hungary, Geza promised Debrecen city to end the Rome invasion of Hungary. Then he turned on his promise. He promised not settled the Dalmatian coast and it did not happen. Break NAP between Hungary and Rome with threats of war. Rome is not felt as a violator of NAP with Hungary because Geza has proven to be very "slippery" and we do not feel bound by it.

Praetor Marcus Yuniy, looked through his binoculars barbarian hordes who were gathering across the Adriatic. "How much" he said, "How many of them slaughtered, but they multiply, they probably barbarian women ****ing with slaves who remained in their land and therefore have as many children to fill their losses."
"But nothing our bombs also will not end soon," he smiled.

Carthaginian Air Force rules the skies.

Although pressure remains high on all fronts, the Carthaginian Air Force is clearly the largest, best trained and most experienced in the world. This year alone, we managed to destroy 4 complete squadrons Egyptian jet fighters and numerous other missions have been undertaken without losses.

Our men are fighting valiantly to make sure our ground troops get maximum support.

Bulgaria had always fought and won its battle on the ground. Not one and two brave enemies have shivered and lower
when the hows of the steppe wolves come with the freezing wind from the East. The tremble of the earth when the Bulgarians co to battle have never bode anything good to our enemies. Flying in the clouds is for chickens and dreamers. All the planes in the world cant save you cowardly westerners from our wrath when we gather and finally set foot in Italy.

Each of aggressors entered the sacred Roman land will get just one piece of land with dimensions: length of two meters per meter and twenty centimeters wide and two meters below the grass roots.

    Stealth bombers rock!

from the first 9 attacks only 8 was intercepted (7 have been shot down).. not to mention losing a missile cruiser at 94% chance in between.. oh fortuna.. furtuna..
At least we don't have many more bombers to get more annoyed :P

Pitty you spotted my sneaky subs trying to get into the Adriatic.
At least your losses are higher (in hammers )

I think the chances for intercepting are a lot higher for experienced jets, close to home..
(but hey, no way to check that..).

Hmm... and we see the introduction of new naval tactics; have to think about that

Sorry Persia, I see I made a mistake and logged in before you were finished.
But as I didn't attack any troops of yours this turn, no harm done?

    Will check better next time.

    Read

Carthaginian Airforce keeps inspiring the youth !

Again our valiant knights of the air have struck a mighty home run. While below the Egyptian navy was counting on an air cover, which was being secured by 7 ! jet squadrons, our air force showed they are the best. All 7 sqadrons have been destroyed, while we lost only one. Afterwards the bombers did what they could to really stop an imminent invasion of Leptis Magna.

The Egyptian equipment is similar, but their crews aren't. Men like captain Utica, major Biggles and Hamilcar "the Maltese Falcon" Gesco make the difference and are a real example for our youngsters.

Sales of Air Force novels have never been so high.

I'm sorry people, this other server I moved the game to is more unstable. I had to reboot it twice today.
Egypt: the last save I used was made 4 minutes before you logged off. If you did any serious important stuff after it you may have to do it again.

Today we mourn the losses of those who were brutally killed in the terrible wars in the North of Africa.
Innocent children, pregnant women, soldiers who did nothing but their duty.

First of all we mourn the citizen of Onoba who all died while being locked up in the church of Onoba, which was set on fire, with the rest of the city.
The Egyptian special forces yelled: "NAP NAP NAP NAP NAP" while the building collapsed.

Let us take some time to remember these brave people.

    Breaking news:

We interrupt the Sunday-afternoon soap-opera marathon to give you the latest breaking news.

We have information that late last night combined Egypt-Hungarian-Bulgarian forces have launched a major top-secret operation. The officials deny information about targets and outcome, but we have some footage showing the action:

Stay tuned for more detailed information about the secret operation with the code name CDE. What stays behind this is yet to be announced.

    More news update:

Reportedly there been heavy fighting near a dusty desert city called Oea. Still it is to be confirmed what was the purpose of those fights - is only a border skirmish in it yet another Oil grab war or something bigger?

    Now on the business news:

Pliska Stock Exchange agents have reported the price of the salt skyrocket in the whole eastern hemisphere. But what is even strange is that even with the enormous prices, salt is nowhere to be found anymore. Experts suspect a scheme to manipulate the stock price and then gain on the stock exchange. Anti-trust investigation is in order.

"What would they need so much salt for and who would buy it all?" ask the normal house-wives who start to learn to cook without salt lately.
