Oh man Auburn's D is awful. And their offense isn't much better. Even if they win this one in the end, this should end the delusion among their fans that they're NC contenders this season.

    Edit: 21-7 Utah St. Wow.

Looks like they remembered they were playing a real football game. Still, this does not bode well for when they'll face a good team.

What does UT have to do with last night's game?
If Baylor beat the Frogs, what chance does UT have? They suck.

It's a valid point: this season of college football is essentially over for the entire state of Texas.

Well, maybe the Aggies can do something special...

If TCU had beaten Baylor, UT would still suck.

Baylor beat UT last year after all, RG3 returns this year.

I could be executed here just for reminding people about that game.

If TCU won, then at least there was hope that UT could beat Baylor.

    I know.

In other news, apparenly Mattison is unable to build a house out of bricks made of **** and sadness. Broncos march right down our throats on opening possession, 8/8 passing, including a 3rd-and-long, and go up 7-0. Defense lined up wrong on multiple plays.

Micihgan's offense has looked less dynamic, but still efficient so far. DRob made a nice, patient pass to what looked like the 3rd or 4th read to give Michigan first-and-goal. Interesting.

Our only good defensive back is injured on the kick return. Why the **** is he on the kick coverage unit anyway?!

Tons of talent, but damn, it's going to be painful while they learn what a football is. Just got the ball repeatedly and reliably shoved up our asses by UTAH ****ING STATE. I was not looking forward to having to spam this thread with "At least they're 1-A, mother****er" responses to every post by Guy.

Boris, I think the last of those delusions were gone last January.

Dude, 2007 App St. would have beaten both teams in the game, (as well as the UM-WMU game, for what it's worth).

    OH SNAP

Freshman DL, after the line getting pushed around all first half, blows his guy up off the snap, leaps to deflect the pass, and squashes WMU's QB, all the space of two seconds, while a LB intercepts the tip and returns it 95 yards for the TD.

Never saw the defense do anything like that last year, but jesus, let's not have to do that again.

Heh, I was going to say that in other [non] news, Notre Dame still sucks.

But so do the Beavers and UCLA, it seems. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Not sharp. The Irish offense is moving the ball, but no pts.

ND is very fortunate to only be losing by 16.

Oh, no doubt, but if we'd lost that game, I'd have been grasping for whatever I could. On the plus side, it motivated me to break out the Woodford Reserve early.
