ARM version won't run legacy applications. If it did, it would take the tablet market like Genghis khan.

Yeah, I didn't think so, although some people had claimed so earlier in the eyar. Bit of a bummer but not sure how they would be able to do it. Some kind of virtual machine?
With such viral bias, you're opinion is thus rendered useless. -Shrapnel12, on my "bias" against the SS.
I've never understood how God could expect his creatures to pick the one true religion by faith — it strikes me as a sloppy way to run a universe.

Yep, it would be doable with a VM, but it would drain the battery real fast.

Am looking to upgrade my Gen 1 Ipad, was looking at the Asus Transformer Infinity Tablet (runs Ice Cream Sandwich)but was thinking maybe I should hold off for the Microsoft Surface models running a version of Windows 8(?)

Both have the ability to use keyboard and USB functionality.

Infinity is out now in the US. Surface supposedly out in October if the Business week is to be believed. Any thoughts?

Depends what you want to use it for.

As a traditional tablet, I'd go for the Android.

I think I'll just stick with Windows 7.

What would the Microsoft model be better for?
