What tax breaks are you on about? You obviously assume this charity is a front created by the Palins not by the Candies brand of tweenage girl merchandise. Instead, Bristol was a paid employee that has to report $265,000 worth of income.

Its as if the entire OP was a symphony of wrong.

As long as Bristol reports the income and pays taxes on it, there's no story here.

Now, if the payment goes to "Bristol Palin, dba Don't Make Babies a 501(c)(3) created to avoid paying taxes," that would be a problem. But there's absolutely no indication of any actual malfeasance. Instead, there's just the ongoing ironic dichotomy between Bristol's non-viginity+premarital babymaking+marriage of convenience+divorce, framed against Palin family values. But that's very old news.

Given the article referenced in the OP specifically calls out Bristol Palin (not some nonprofit org) in a Form 990 Part VII - Compensation of Five Highest Indpendent Contractors as part of Candie's Foundation 2009 tax form, only a rabid moronic partisan would draw the conclusion that some subsidiary nonprofit organization was being paid on Bristol's behalf. But I repeat myself when referencing Oerdin.

Yeah, there is. I wouldn't give money to a nonprofit like this anyways, but if I was, I would want to know so that I don't give to this specific one.

The Candiesfoundation web site is rather open about their mission. All it takes is 2 seconds of time to understand their emphasis is public awareness as opposed to pregnancy health and counseling clinics. Doesn't take a 'story' to reinforce what they themselves admit their claimed mission is.

Do you research which celebrities are under contract with EVERY organization you give money to? Or are you just biased and whining about this one because of the celebrity (and I use the term loosely here ) involved?

I look up the charities I give money to. I give money to ones who spend most of their income on charity work and relatively little on salaries/advertisement/etc.

Note that they still probably pay their presidents/etc 100+k.

If the goal of the organization is advertisements you have to look at it differently.
