Life is about doing stuff, once you die you can no longer do stuff, so while death is inevitable the longer we can put it off the better (I'm talking in general, of course, living longer only because you are being tortured to death instead of quickly being killed is not better)

Your afraid to die. If you know that there is a after life, then there is no fear.
As I said before, YOU all will experience it!

I wish I knew if there really is as much continuity as I think there is. How do I know that the next time I wake up, if I really will still exist and it won't be someone else who thinks they're me because they have my memories. How do I know I wasn't born this morning.

Nope. You're born to live and reproduce.

                          Stiff.
Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.
The simple suggestion of a true change scandalizes and terrifies modern man. -Nicolás Gómez Dávila

Speak for yourself...I plan to live forever

Really, I do find the idea of dying terrifying. And aging for that matter. I can see age slowly taking it's toll on me, and I am not exactly delighted by this fact. Although I still seem to be as fit as ever though, so not that much of a toll.
