aint for a while, but I figured I'd start a thread on it because I dont see a college basketball thread and I'm wondering how in the hell the team with the best record is ranked 10th. Seriously, Kentucky is 35-3 and they're behind a bunch of teams that aint even close in winning pct

PGA Tour starts in less than 2 days

sign up for fantasy golf, we got a league with 11 people and the competition is Impressive with a capital I. Last year more than half our league kicked the experts butts, all 4 of them (or was it 5?).

To be fair, the Yahoo fantasy golf experts kind of suck.

Interesting you should start this thread today. I just heard from H Tower out of the blue (wondering what happened to FFZ). But the tourney is still months away, dude.

March Madness thread in the first week of January!

Though I'm sure CBS has been advertising for March Madness since November.

Kentucky is actually 11-2.

I don't blame Berzerker though, these things get hyped up so much. I don't know what it is about basketball. People are already talking about the NBA playoffs, as well. Too many games, I guess.

people are talking about the nba playoffs because unless your team truly sucks, you'll get to see them in the playoffs. I love watching college ball though, all year round. There's just something about watching the different kinds of programs out on the floor, the mid major senior led teams facing off in bracket buster games, and the big conference schools going head to head with each other. The early season tournaments offer up some great games too.

I see the light, and I don't think it is a train. Next year might be rough, until Mike gets his type of players in. Same way the first year of Nolan was. But I have a feeling Bud Walton will again be a great place to watch games, compared to the silent and dead feel that the place had the last couple of years.
