Greetings to all.. It is I your friend and hero... Here to give you my 1 week post Civ V release Civ update... :P ... Its been a grueling week with many bugs, strategic loopholes, and newbs... But as always... Your friend and hero and prevailed against all odds...

The first day of MP (Before the ladder was even formed) I lost to the best beta tester than whooped him 2 days later once I had some more practiced

Interesting, the league on apolyton seems to rate based on game type. Does Civplayers have that too?
Of course Eyes, when you bring up the standings the default is "overall" but just drop down the list(at the top) to cton/FFA, duel or Teamer, each standings has it's own glicko2 subroutine so you will see that the same players very well have different ranks and different skill values on the different game types. Ah cool. I always wanted that even since Civ2 days. Pissed me off when Markusf used to get like 300 points from one of his stupid FFA games and I'd have to go win like 10 duels to make that.
People who played the beta are cheaters with an unfair advantage. I vote we permaban this guy and anyone who likes him.
He's not a beta tester, he's just a rich kid with a lot of time on his hands. He lives in beverly hills and pretty much plays the game all day.

Join the Arena MGT and you can beat me up. I played 3 MP games during beta so should be a fair game disregarding the MP imbalances.

The problem has cleared up. But, yesterday my computer just showed you with 1 win, Grimarch with 1 loss.
most likely you were still getting data from the testing site. Since that is all that is still listed for C5 there.

CiV - an abomination. Very prescriptive and 1upt is simply flawed. Only played it as much as I did for the STEAM 'Achievements'.
AAP - haven't played that in yonks, no real desire too either as it was very prescriptive too.
I'm mainly playing Shogun 2, Alpha Centauri and Xcom.
