    The Civ5 SDK is out!

    The SDK is apparently out.

    Go to the tools sub-tab of the library tab and look for "Sid Meier's Civilization V SDK".

    Edit: ModBuddy won't work unless you download these runtime libraries they forgot to include.

    I ran two of the additional files , the net frame 4 and Visual one, I get my map name to appear and most changes to appear.

    But the "Scenario" additions dont appear, on the top of the SDK you can alter the scenario properties such as starting gold given,starting culture points and techs allowed. I have been unable to get them to show up in my map I am making?

    When I open the Scenraio Tab, you cannot save it, you have to close the tab then save the map you are working on.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    One last thing, It says "ADD RIVER" in the map but doesnt show how to add a river or where rivers can be added?

    Rivers are added like this: When in the add river tab, zoom in and you will see blue dots between the tiles. Click on one, then on one next to it. Voila, a river is made. Continue until you are satisfied.

    Look at the very top of the SDK, and you can change things like starting gold and such, how can I do this, it wont show up?

    In addition, I want to add starting tech, wont show up when you play game?

    Ok, after looking at Kael Modding guide, saw a picture of clicking the scenaro load button, all working fine now!!!!

    In SDK, after you generate the map then accept it how do you zoom in and out when editing the map? Also, how do you get the map to scroll?

    In the Firaxis Tuner during live play - is there any way to add a continuous road? Otherwise you have to continually click add road and destination tile - sure would be easier to just add a road between points?

    Continuous Roads

    The "Get" functions for all controls seem to be executed every time you click something in the game. So you can make a plopper control to do what the "Add Roads" button does in the "Get" function. After testing it, I decided to register and share the code here.

    Here's how I made a "Road Plopper" control in Firaxis Live tuner:

    • On the Map tab, copy and paste the "Resource Plopper Enabled" control (right-click the existing control, select copy, right click a black spot on the left side and select paste).
    • Right-click the new control and select Edit. Name the control "Road Plopper", then fill in the functions with the following code.
