  • Have we updated poly's key words?

I'm just wondering if we've added the key words "Civilization V" and "Civ 5" to poly's list of key words for search engines?

Keywords? Are there search engines that still use them?
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
    Once again...

I remember those days when every website had "Pamela Anderson" as one of it's keywords
      Formerly known as "CyberShy"

What do they do now just use bot crawlers or something?

I think it's important that other websites link to you.
The more websites link to Apolyton with a "civilization" link, the better we will be presented in the search results on "civilization".
Links from more important websites is also important of course.

Thus it helps if we get links like this: Click on the link for more information about Civilization 5.

In the past Apolyton used many different domains.
That's not good. The wealth is then spread. ie. apolyton.com, civilization4.net, girlsplayciv.com, etc. all get a part of the 'link bonus'.
It's better to have 1 domain with a heigh value then 3 domains with a mediocre value.

So if you want to help Apolyton, put a link to Apolyton on your website and make sure that the link mentions "Civilization 5"

Don't know exatly what you mean by that but I assumed that by "keywords" you ment the keywords metatag and no one uses those anymore. It's better to use search terms in the page title and in the description. And in the content of course.
