Which Historical US Vice President Would Have Made the WORST President?

I'd never vote for him, but you can't compare Al Gore and, for example, Spiro ****ING Agnew.

Also, "Other" is an option.

But really, it's tough to do worse than the Communist shill, Henry Wallace. Think about what is Cabinet would have looked like (Henry Dexter White, anyone?), not to mention what his policies vis a vis the Soviet Union would have been.

But you do have to admit, that if you are bringing up the treason/secession charge, John C. Calhoun would have to be just as bad. He never actually did it, but he would have, and I doubt even he would deny it.

Thats funny, because that provacation existed yet he never did any such thing. And shall we catalogue the long list of slaveholders held up as the great statesmen of our nation, starting with Jefferson?

You obviously know nothing of the man's career. Having served as the Secretary of War, Secretary of State, and Vice President twice each under a different president puts his qualifications a bit higher than Quayle. Even if you disagree with him he was hardly an intellectual light weight as any history of the time will atest to.
