I still cannot unpack this thing. Keep getting cannot create/open the file messages. Looks like Windows 7 BS.

Ok, got it now.

Is there a parameter to the exe file or an edit to an ini file that can be done to force the game to load using a specific username? Playing in multiple civ games, I am certain that I will eventually forget to change my user name from Exploit to whatever civ I am playing in this game (or back again) at which point my secret will be blown. Any recommendations on how to prevent this?

Side note: I'm having trouble getting the mod shortcut to work, it doesn't recognize the target. I could be making a stupid mistake but can anyone think what it may be?

I have tested. Test was good. I await the coming of the Dawn.
deity told me that he can login to the game, but not move units. Can others confirm this?
@China: that's the path more or less, you have to adapt it to your local situation. In my case, ie.: "d:\Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword.exe" mod=\Destiny of Empires

Yeah, I also can't do anything with my units. Can't move em, can't settle em. But I can connect.

Apparently I had not selected the 'simultaneous turns' checkbox....
Now it's supposed to be ok!
I'll look into that Spanish mod as well, it sounds like worth a shot! It eliminates all double move troubles!

Can't login to mod as it keeps asking me for a password - for the game not the civ - which I did not know we needed.

OK. That worked and I was able to move and settle.
I assume that this is still a 'trial' as there are a lot of unwanted Civ's in there.

Yes it's a trial. Now there is a non-passworded version playing.
I am right now trying this mod merger of the No Double Moves mod + Ozzies mod. The server is now running this mod! if you want to test it, download it here: http://plomp.eu/doe2.rar

MIND YOU: it's an advanced start game in the modern era, that way we can best test how this "No double move" mod works, and if Ozzy's mod works as well.

There appears to be a problem here-namely 2 Chinas! Plus, the Mod seems to be crashing when I try & enter the game. Any reason why this might be?

I guess that the both of you remember what civ you picked!
If not, please just login to the civpicker again to see which civ you picked!

I need one final confirmation that the DM Mod is working to prevent double moves during war, and then we're ready to go.

Robert, with this DMM what are we going to do when 1 player just does not play their turn? Surely we cannot just put the game on indefinite pause or penalise the other player by letting everyone else play apart from them?

I think we then must apply the same methods as we did in DoC.
But maybe we should first find out if we want to use this mod or not. I'm going to test it now.
If anybody is around right now, please join me in testing the DM Mod. If we have 4 players we can test it easier.
