I have a question about "2. Will the map contain New Worlds to explore where no civilization starts?" My original answer was yes because my predecessor had indicated Australia in an earth map counted as a New World. Personally I would not consider Australia a New World instead it is simply a very large island (regardless of being a continent it is not comparable in size to the Americas). With nearly half the votes in, it is looking like an earth map is likely. I am wondering if those people voting for no New World are actually voting for a civ to start in Australia. This should probably be clarified.

Just playing a bit of the Earth18civs scn and I reckon that if we do ozzy's suggestion of contstraining the top tier in Europe then I suggest, besides a larger map, is that the resources are good, that the resource for UU is present and that two cities at least can be built without overlaps...

a little later on now... and France should NOT exist So, England, Spain, Germany, Romans, Otts..

I confirm that I will play this game, although I have to learn the role-playing part on the move. Sounds fun with this kind of grouping by skill. I'll vote a bit later after someone else makes the votes of the last 2 guys all right. I can't do it myself now because I'm at work ATM.

About where I think I must put myself according to skill at civ4, I don't know anyone of you guys, and how strong you play, except for Exploit, and I have the feeling that he don't know anyone of you too, so it will be hard to tell. I consider myself strong player without any bit of shame, but maybe I am still not match for the tier1 players of your community and will be easy pray if I am their neighbor and dissbalance the game?

I would like to point out that the very last line in my vote post stated specifically that I ranked my self as a complete newbie. I think that should have been ample to understand that I was ranking myself in the lowest of the four tiers. Somehow, at least three different posts thereafter (2 by Robert and 1 by Ozzy) asserted I hadn't ranked myself...
