That was my first thought too, but that comment just doesn't make no sense.. and the others as well. Lucykhloe is an adbot who can join in a conversation and its comments are quite on-topic. But in reality it just steals sentences from others and changes a few words to its synonym, very funny..

Egypt's mission to liberate the vikings from the anarchy is over. We could only save two cities from the vultures. Because of our peaceful nature we won't risk a global war with the others, not even for the vikings, but our hearts are full of sorrow for the lost..

There was a chance to save billions of lives.. the game almost ended peacefully and very unexpectedly. Babylon called a vote for diplo victory and almost succeed . It was a very good move as I , and as it seems everyone else was absolutely unaware that He is so close to win. And the proposition only failed because I coincidentaly started to spread hinduism into my cities just 7-8 turns ago, and during this time 7 of my cities were converted. I only did to get extra happiness and the small hammer bonus from the hindu temples..
Now it seems we have to continue building up our armies
But nice try Babylon, really !
(I did not do the exact math, but quite sure they could had won if the vote happens 7-8 turns ago. they had 404 vote, me 100 (raised from about 25) , the rest altogether 83. They required 440 from 587)

I have just read the many posts that occurred during my absence. Russia is correct to say that I have been in an alliance with him since very near the beginning of the game, I had fought a brief war with Mongolia over a badly sited city and had concerns about China building cities very close to existing cities of mine. So I entered an unconditional alliance with him so that I could feel secure within my borders and there has been cooperation between us ever since. Previously when absent I had used another sub, but this time being aware of impending major battles coming up I decided it was best that Russia subbed for me because I intended to provide units to him which he would then upgrade and use however he wished. Russia as sub could manage this transfer of units best, with him transferring some upgraded units back to me for my defence.
Being away I was unaware of the money transfers, but they are within the parameters of our alliance and would have occurred upon his request if I had been in charge of the civ, so all is well there.
Lincoln personally has no argument with DesertLord and had no desire at any time to be involved in the wars, but our unconditional alliance with Russia was the sole reason for our involvement since we know that Russia likewise will asist us should we become involved in any wars in the future.

Egypt recognizes that more than half of the world are united into a single, unconditional(?) alliance. In the protection of the rest of the world, Egypt announces that She will protect the remaining free nations if this alliance threatens them, and should any member declare war on any yet independent nation Egypt will join in war against the whole alliance.
Egypt considers: Rome, Gondor, Russia, America part of the evil alliance, and Babylon, Sumeria, Mongol as independent nations thus protected.
If these informations are not correct please update us.
We of couse hope this is an unnecessary step by us, and we will enjoy eternal peace..

I am unhappy with this as I communicated with the Americans whilst they were controlled by Russia. This was unknown to me and is wrong!

Subbing is fine but a sub should be indicated in the name as agreed, e.g. America(Sub), but when the sub comes from within the game itself then it must be public knowledge who that sub is.

I could have offered a plan or plot against Russia to America and found Sumerian aims were known to the intended target. Thankfully I didn't but this must not ever happen again. Please enforce this rule very strictly in DoE Robert.

I agree on the bit of bad form here and Russia has already apologised.

Even though we don't cover this with any rules in this game I once again urge all players to step back and think about their actions.

Please from now on in this game I request that any in game subbing be totally transparent to all the other players. Amonst other things it spoils the secret diplomacy - AND there are VOLUMES of that!

Sumeria the only communication you had with the Americans was a request for a trade, which I agreed on. I did control the American civ following the org player instructions. Yes maybe i should have put a sub, so the rest of the gang knew they were subbed. I will be more careful next time if someone requests me to sub for them.

What big alliance, that alliance was forced upon us after the most advanced nation Egypt decided that they have the right to curve down whatever nation they disliked. Of course after weighting the pros and cons 3 nations decided to ally for their own good. Egypt you did create that alliance by your own actions.

As for Mongolia goes, you speak of you being their protector, may i ask what have you done for them in order to aid them? From my corner of the world, seems that only Russia is trying to do something about it and aid Mongolia in enjoying the game (Thumbs up for the Mongolian player sticking so long and being interested in the game.)

Again as you all saw, America stands by what we have said and done in game. To some wrong and to some right i guess we need to move on.

Agree on the thumbs up, but please note that Gondor has inter acted with Mongolia and kept them informed for game enjoyment along with cooperative arrangements.

Mongolia and the Americans have got on reasonably well since the early arguments about city placement and it has been American willingness to destroy the military strength of China while leaving the majority of the cities to Mongolia to capture that will help Mongolia improve its position in the game. It is very disappointing that Sumeria has taken advantage of that destruction of Chinese power to capture some cities that I could have taken for myself, but have instead left for Mongolia to capture. Any war that results from these aggressive and unnecessary Sumerian actions should not be subject to threats from Egypt, as any such war will be designed to benefit Mongolia alone.
I request that Sumeria consider giving the mainland cities of China to Mongolia, Sumeria has enough land of its own, Mongolia does not.

Please do not be concerned about Sumeria grabbing any part of China, apart from Macau, and there are no troops heading towards the mainland.

The war had already commenced prior to Russia subbing for me. I have had no contact with other members of the alliance, my alliance is with Russia alone and the aid I provided went to Russia alone. I have no alliance with any other nation, but friendly communication with several. My alliance with Russia is unconditional, so I provided aid as is reasonable when Russia was at war, likewise Russia will do the same for me if war becomes necessary and aid is needed. I have no argument with Egypt, but my alliance will always come first. The alliance provides the security I need in the superpower politics that the game has become, I am too weak to survive on my own, even though I am stronger than several other nations.

Server crashed (while I was reloading Doe).
Then I by accident linked DoE to DoD on civstats, so the stats on civstats are now (temporarily) screwed up.
It's all been fixed. I used Egypt's last autosave to reload.

This means that from Egypt's last login on (including Egypt's moves!) have to be replayed.

Egypt, Russia doesn't need many allies. But when it comes down to it like you bulling Rome. Some preferred to form an alliance to fend off your aggression. As you said you underestimated the response by Gondor and Russia.

Feeding Mongolia? Why shouldn't we try to help them? It is not charity, but an attempt to lift a civ to a more solid condition. Or you prefer sumeria to grow even more? Yes this is not a diplo game. Civs can and have been destroyed. But I wonder if any of you or me would have been still in it as Mongolia have stayed and played.

Different circumstances alter cases. What was written was true but after your advice that Russia also wished parts of southern China I had no choice.

It is easy for America, and Russia, to claim Sumeria has 'enough land of its own' but the pair of you share an entire new continent which Sumeria could never have got to. Neither have America or Russia had to fight for their empires - every scrap of Sumeria's has come from war. If I had acted differently I would be sitting in the same situation as Mongolia is now.

I have helped Mongolia throughout the game. I agreed borders and have stuck to them. It would have been easy for me to have sent them to the same fate as France and Maya but I didn't.

I also applaud Mongolia for not just quitting. I don't want to harm them but if the price for handing over south China is further increase in Russia's power then I will not pay that price.

Ah, I have just noticed this: I feared that the noble Sumerians would be the next target of your evil expansionist alliance. I will not allow this unfair war to happen Unfair because it could only end with the defeat of Sumeria, even if they would win the war against America there is America's "unconditional" ally to help them out. And Yes I saw that Gondor is already building the railroads accross Mongolia se they are too preapring to intervene if necessary.. I'm disgusted by you and your actions.

Let it be known that whilst America may be content to be Russia's obedient puppy Sumeria is nobody's pet to be used or discarded at the whim of its' master. You seek to provoke a war; not because it is to your advantage but because it is the will of your master.

Do you think me blind? I know what and where the troops that might attack me are. I see the Russian, American and Roman Riflemen. I see Gondorian and Egyptian Infantry as clearly as I see your many Knights. I know the peril my nation lives under but it is a peril that has existed for centuries.

If Sumeria is attacked she will fight! She has spent her entire history fighting for her very survival so please do not believe that submission is a word that has suddenly entered common usage in Uruk.

Well Russia has done what it can to aid Mongolia, we have handed the Chinese cities to the Mongolians. Of course we can not expect Sumeria to do the same. Still it is a shame to see one endlessly greedy.
