The world moves so quickly around Byzantium. People spouting words and not waitnig to hear responses. People who are interested merely in the sound of their own voices.
Rip van Greekle of Greece
I appreciate your careful, thoughtful words as what I know is a terrible time for your nation. We too have been invaded, three times, and have lost cities.
You are mistaken through when you suggest that the Byzantine army mobilied during the Incan-Egyptian war. Check back the records, my friend. You will see no threasts from Byzantium to invade or aid any side in that war. Indeed, the only threats I remember were made, once again, my the Bullies of Korea. Similarly, my friend, look to the North. Both Byzantium and Persia have refrained from involving ourselves in the Turkish-Russian war. Byzantium is consistent in its policy of not using its military might to bully the weaker nations of this world. Some nations follow this same morality. Some do not. I do not blame you for looking for strong friends. But Byzantium's refusal to threaten invasion and deploy troops in these wars is consistent. But we will support the weak if threatened by those whose power means they should know better.
I did not threatenen you privately or publicly. What I said in correspondance to both you and Arabia was that you should find peace because if world war erupts around you, it would be your land which was destroyed by the world powers trampling all over it. That was a simple statement of fact, as well as an encouragement for both parties to find peace. I am glad you have.
The settler you question started I believe from Thessalonica and is on the quickest route possible to the south western Roman ports. Where you will remember the Romans independently and without prompting verified a transport is waiting. The settler has travelled on its course - I am sure some in Arabian, England or Rome will be able to verify its current location.
I understand my neighbour that you are traumatised by what has happened to you. But in time you will review the facts rather than believe the rantings of others, and will see that Byzantium has had nothing to do with this war whatsoever.
General Hulk of England
While I disagree with your policy of intervention, I recognise that you have a legitimate interest in this war since with me you are a neighbour of Greece. I am shocked though that you let the morons of Korea speak for you. English diplomacy has long been respected - I fear for you if you let this policy continue. I will gladly travel to discuss our continents security with you.
Justinian of ByzantiumLords of Korea
You make me sick. For millenia all we heard from Korea was whinning about the power of the powerful in this world. And now, you have recently threatened invasion of the Inca and the Arabs when they engaged in wars against nations their own size. Truly you are nothing but a bully. A coward who finds himself strong compared to some, and can't resist ponsing about showing off their strength frightening the children. Never have you actually had the courage to pick a fight with soemone your own size. No you whine about the powerful but then exploit every last bit of power you have. Of course you haven't even had the courage to commit a single solider to confict ever in your history. Like all cowards you just shout loudly. While I rejoice to see the Arabs and Greeks finding peace, I am saddened by one thing - the fact that we will have to cancel the sweepstake of nations, which has already had much interest - over whether you would ever commit any troops, and if you did how long it would be until they were exterminated. Currently most nations think you are all talk and would never do anything anyway. Sadly it seems we will not get a chance to find out.
You call me 'friend'. Yes we have had good relations over recent years until you threatened the small nation of the Inca, the first victim of your bullying, with destruction. But Byzantium does not commit evil for anyone, friend or not. We will not sign up to a pact of powerful nations who take it as their right to bully the weak, to remove their independence, to reduce them to vassals, to decide where they can expand, to control them with laughable offers of overseas territories when we all know the southern continent is full. Yes we would value friendship but we will die alone untainted rather than celebrate with others while we trample on the weak. Friends. We will see. The world is changing. Changing because of many nations disgust in your actions. Many nations see your love of bullying those weaker than you, see your willingness to engage in diplomacy at the end of the barrel of a gun. One day my 'friend' you will find others more powerful than you deciding to pick on you, and let us then see you crying foul. We can but hope that with the death of Alfred Deakin the Korean nation will find its morality once more.

I think it time for world war.....

this is a story about Media
Farza reads old Arabian letter
While going through Beli'Az archives,
Farza discovered an old letter from the Arabs. It was barely paid attention to. A small response letter was documented as well. It read:
"Arabia is strong. Greece is weak and stands in our way. We cite the law of Hastog to justify our actions. We call upon the proud and noble nation of Media and to defend Arabia's right to invade Greece.
We recognize your nation as strong and powerful. All nations fear you! If you tell Britannia to revoke their demand to attack us they will obey.
Demonstrate your power and might, bring the Korea into line. All nations will tremble and bow before you. Arabia promises to PAY.
Baron Ozious, Regent of Arabia "
"Korea again... always Korea..." Farza shaked his head. Then he ordered the well prepared fleet to sail to the south again. The fleet was completely ready since it was only pulled from the Russian/Ottoman waters weeks ago. Well defended by Frigates and Ships of the Line, and well occupied with Grenadiers and Canons, the Median fleet once again sailed into the Oceans"

India has no interest in the conflict of Greece and Arabia, but we are watching the events and thought we'd set some facts right:
-Byzantine troops did intervene on Egypt's side during the Inca's attack, we have proof of that-We don't blame them defending their friends-but why denying, why being two-faced?
The Answer become clear when we see what is Byzantium interest in the Arabian-Greek war. The marvelous Greek culture always bothered the culturally not so advanced Byzantium, this war is a good opportunity for them to ease the pressure. Though they must help Arabia from the shadows if they want to avoid the intervention of other big powers, who would come to help selflessly the defenceless Greek. That's why they deny their part in the Egyptian war: Neutrality is their best argument to let the Byzantine upgraded Arabian troops wreak havoc on Greece's land.
That is what they are the best in, manipulating from the shadows.. they are doing now, they did in the Inca-Egypt conflict and they did during the invasion against England too.. just to open your eyes...

More Greek lies. The Camel Archers who assaulted Greece are not Cataphracts. The Byzantines ride horses! Arabs ride camels! You cannot "upgrade" a camel into a horse! The primitive Greeks believe in strange forces of alchemy to be sure! Were such an "upgrade" not against the laws of nature, why would we? Horses are weak and die in the desert, what good would they be for our Bedouin riders?

Tell whatever lies you wish. I will not get into I fight of words with you but before you continue on I want you to know something. For every turn and Lie oyu tell I will invade one Arab city then gift it to Greece. I will pillage all of your lands and take your workes as my slaves until you are left with less then nothing. Unless you give back the cities you took from Greece within the next 2-5 turns. Do this not and your entire nation will fall before anyone could even try to help you.

With Kane no longer distracted by The Arab/ Greek war Kane turned his attention back to Britannia. The domestic advisor had done a horrible job over the years causing Britannia to go almost completely broke. Kane fired the Domestic advisor and hired a new advisor from Persia. The new advisor pointed out many different cost cutting projects that would dramatically increase Britannia's income. Kane ordered all military units to be put on hold, he gave control over to his new domestic adviser KisAz, and he retired to the Temple of Nod until the projects where done.
KisAz wasted no time quickly changing the work orders of the empire to focus on building banks, sending out more missionaries, and even building a new palace on the colonies. There was a lot of work infront of KisAz but like a typical Persian he was ready for the challenge.

I accept and praise you for your apology. Few nations would have the honestly and strength of character, when under such pressure and when other nations are whispering lies in your ears, to see the truth in such a balanced way, and admit a understandable mistake.
I hope you can accept the same in relation to these camel archers.
I understand the confusion your scouts may have fallen into. The arabian camel archers who fled from your successfullly defended city into my territory are still in my territory hiding. As you know I still have open borders with all my neighbours including yourself and Greece. The picture below shows them - the exact number who fled your city, still showing those wounds. I believe that your scouts were probably confused by the fact that a regiment of cataphracts did move west shadowing the English troop movements. England has moved troops into your territory; we have refrained from that, but I guess that these cataphracts on your border were confused for the arabian camels.
A number of nations are trying hard to keep alive the rumour that Byzantium is scheming on the side of the Arabs in this conflict. I hope that you have the wisdom to see that (a) this is not true and (b) they are saying this for their own purposes, wanting to create a world war, not caring that it will be fought on your land not theirs.
Byzantium's position is exactly as it was and has been. We have not helped either side in this war. We did not know the date of its launch and were suprised when suddenly there were camels travelling east into our land and then west out of it. We have not ungraded anything for anyone. We have not 'lent' any soliders. I have declared publicly that I will resign if anyone provides proof of this, but they haven't because it is the complete truth.
Nevertheless my position remains resolute.
If any nation (including the suddenly warlike Britannians) involves themselves in the Greek-Arabian war, particularly those so much more powerful than either of you, then Byzantium will act to ensure the balance. Indeed, I believe other nations such as Persia are following our lead.
I continue to urge you and Arabia to find peace. Or if you wish fight it out. But do not think that you can bring rifles and machine guns to mow down the Arabian bowmen without others taking action.
Βασιλεύς Βασιλέων Βασιλεύων Βασιλευόντων

Baron Ozious, his surprisingly active regency at the helm of Arabia now at an end, is not content to simply retire at his beautiful Roman estate. Though he has no official position with any nation, he is currently traveling to Greece, England, Byzantium, Britannia, Rome, Arabia and elsewhere seeking a peaceful, equitable end to this conflict.
Will his efforts bear fruit? Only time will tell. As former regent of Rome and former regent of Arabia, Baron Ozious has a unique perspective on the current state of world affairs. He lends his perspective to this ongoing peace process. It is hoped that as a neutral party, he can bring everyone to the negotiating table and end this costly war.

To Byzantium,
We are in Greece because Greece asked us to be here. Read for yourself:
We will leave only when Greece wish us to.england help arriving. it must continue till cities returned
Your public threats towards England are most surprising, this is very unwelcoming.
I will wait for you to clarify your stance towards us.

To Empress Shakti:
It has come to my attention the wrongs my predecessor Gen Hulk has done. I have ordered that all Intel towards India be stopped immediatelyYou haven't just increased your intell, but you violated a treaty between our people causing us much harm. We demand that you cease spying on us or we will have no choice, but to answer in kind
Please do accept my apologies. Do know that much will change now, England has opened its eyes and sees differently.
My cabinet is ready to reimburse you the harms our Intel has caused your country.
PM Frank

Prime Minister Frank,Your public threats towards England are most surprising, this is very unwelcoming.
We have not threathened England. We have not mentioned England I believe. All we have done is say that many nations of this world, ourselves included, could not sit and do nothing when machine gunners cut down bowmen. If massively technological capable military nations involve themselves on one side of a war, justice demands that other nations provide balance. But we have no quarrel with England, and hope that Greece and the Arabs can find peace between themselves. Its their war, not ours.
Peace my friend, we both have better things to worry about.
Βασιλεύς Βασιλέων Βασιλεύων Βασιλευόντων

Byzantium,
We understand your lack of military knowledge, allow me to share with you that English Machine Gunners are trained only for defensible purposes. They only fire upon if fired.
You talk about justice, so tell us why do you not care about the Greeks who have just lost 1/3 of their nation? I am disappointed to see that you have decided to ignore us. I guess it suits you, so i will say it again, England troops are moving west, because Greece have asked for our help in stopping the invading Arabs.
We are ready to pull out if Greece, if Greece wants us. Greece do you want England to pull out from your lands?
PM Frank
