Powhatan stood on the shore looking out to sea and wondered what was happening to Taoism and leadership in the neighbouring Indian nation

King Kaliph had been a good friend, assisting with modern oceangoing craft, but Queen Shivali seemed more strident. Setting out on missions to enforce conversion to Sha'Taoism in foreign lands.

Then there was his neighbour the Mad Monk in Korea openingly challenging Shivali. But Korea too was a friend; the Monk's predecessor, Lord of Korea offered Natives access to the new land in South Korea.

When Metacom gets home, Powhatan decided, he needed to call a PowWow to discuss these matters and also who should travel to these new settlements whereever they are.

With the discovery of new land near Mali, Sum Dak made it known to the people of Mali that a new colony would be established. Anyone wanting a new start on life would be given free passage and a sum of money to help establish themselves in this new colony. All walks of life responded, tradesmen, military, scientists, etc. ready to build a new city in a new world. The new settlers have landed in Frontieria and are currently building their homes, eager to start a new life.

Gold trade? trade??? You mean the gold we gifted to those who helped us spreading the faith by missionaries...we offered that for thousand years which is long over now. We've just decided to continue sending it to our _friends_ -not you anymore.. obviously.
If you close your borders because we don't give you freebies while you are attacking us continously you can as well declare war on us so saving us the time to do it ourselves. Thank You.

Sad news:
By now it become clear that the Korean Government has become corrupted, lost their way, their true faith in Sha'Tao. Their crimes against us and our God is countless, but here are just a few recent:

-They have denied the teachings of the Holy Book
-They turned against the Sha'Tao most holy spiritual leaders
-By now we have evidence that the so called 'Mad Monk' was behind those terrorist attacks in which many holy priest has been killed so He could rise to power.
-Their collaboration with the heretic Byzantium is confirmed-even by Byzantium itself
-While they closed their border with us they continue to trade with the demonlover Persia.. clearly shows they care only about wealth and power


We can't even image how much harm this goverment can cause to their citizens. We can't let this to continue.. how could we win the war against evil when we are attacked by our once were friends?
We don't want war. We hope that the korean people can solve this issue soon and be able to remove this 'mad' tyrant-but if they ask for help from us we may consider to do what we must.

Open your eyes, see the truth. The Vampire Queen of India is the warmongering, conquest-lusting, religion-corrupting hypocrite that we have been warning about.

All know the truth of her blood-thristy invasion of Byzantium, arrogant in her possession of riflemen, thinking that she could drink the blood of any nation she chose. All of this covered by the pretense that she had an interest in Tao'ism.

Do you know that when her forces raped the fair cosmopolitan city of Adrianople they actually burnt to the ground the Tao'ist temple there, killing the priests?

I was greatly heartened by the many letters of support and offers of help which I received at that time, from Tao'ist nations and others. Nevertheless in military terms, we had to stand alone against Vampire, but at great cost her legions of riflemen and supporting troops were sent to hell.

And now? Nations of the world, do not think that the danger is passed. Be thankful yes that Byzantium stood and fought and defeat two armies, but do not stick your heads in the sand believing that nothing will ever happen to you.

When she came for the Inca, we did nothing because we weren't Inca
When she came for the Eyptians, we did nothign because we weren't Eyptian
When she came for the Byzantines, we did nothign because we weren't Byzantine
When she came for the Koreans, we did nothing because we weren't Korean

When she came for us, there was nobody left to help us ...

See that ominous words are emerging from the Vampire Queen now - these said to the most populous Tao'ist nation on earth - her longstanding ally and friend the Koreans

Two different groups of nations have already contacted me, rallying to the proclaimation of freedom, recognising the overwhelming threat India is to their security and even existance. To them, I say, do not falter in your resolve - the Vampire contines to build, to plot, and will launch more evil very soon. To the others, I say, wake up, take your courage in your hands and join the worldwide movement to destroy the Vampire threat. The longer you delay, the stronger the Vampire becomes. The technological gap will grow, not shrink, in time. Byzantium has proved resolve, bravery and tactics can defeat any technology.

Yes by saying this publicly the Vampire will probably come again to Byzantium - this time undoubtedly she will win if we have to stand alone. But we would prefer to take our chance and stand against the manifest overwhelming evil in the hope that others will join us, rather than hide in our beds until one by one she destroys us all.

Do not let the ramblings of a mad man push your buttons. Those that yell the loudest do so because they have no power to do anything else. Perhaps the sane Tao brothers in Korea can squelch the mad monk's ramblings and keep peace. We believe this mad monk may live in Stonia province in Korea which was under a heathenistic religion of the cross. A missionary just landed there and spread the knowledge of Tao around the city. Perhaps this will kill the uprising the mad monk is trying to stir.

Weeks after the uprising of the Taoist in Britannia many who where still loyal to the one true prophet Kane where beginning to lose hope. The Taoist where nothing like Kane, they cared nothing for the well being of the citizens only that of their own taoist followers. The Britannian people grew more and more angry with the Taoist that had taken their freedoms. The nation was becoming a powder cage which only needed a spark to ignite the flames of insurrection.

Dear Brother Fyodor, have you heard anything from your people? Nothing aside from the usual from my front. War in the far east, rebellions in Britannia, greed in Persia, etc etc. It can make a man tired all this going on, he can begin to give up following all current events. Personally I've decided to only read the headlines of the Gazettes these days, I simply have too many affairs. I heard of your decision to make Moscow a military nexus, and I am uncertain if it is wise. There are too many traders and thinkers there to truly make it a powerhouse. On the other hand, with further development, I suppose anything is possible.

I am glad to hear that our Kola cities are finally starting to develop. Now, to the matter of the day, and though I do not care much for such things, I believe the Britannians are in need of some support. I would prefer it if Taoism did not take root in our lands, it has shown itself to be highly subversive and its leaders aggressive. Ask the Lord Kane if he requires any of your soldiers, my merchants will suffer the expense in the form of another tax.

The lastest discussions within the Tao'ist Faith

Sitting with his foreign team and Tao'ism expert, Justinian looked at the results of the latest vote of the Tao'ist 'apostolic palace'.



"And how do you interpret this?", he asked his foreign advisor.

"It shows the Vampire Queen's continuing attempt to cut down any whom she things might one day be able to challenge her. She does that by military force, but also by any other means she can. The Persians have diplomatically opposed her, and so this is her revenge, and attempt to slow down their development."

"Yes, I can see that, exactly what one would expect of her. And to think, Tao'ism is meant to be a force for enlightenment, and yet she tries to use it as a means of errecting barriers, and of punishing nations who disagree with her." Turning to his Tao'ism expert, "your thoughts?"

"well, sire, if you look at the votes two things are noticeable:

1. India is not a particularly Tao'ist nation, which may surprise many given the way they present themselves. Three nations have Tao'ist populations larger than theirs, and another three are very close to them. The Vampire Queen may have seized control of Tao'ism and corrupted it for her purposes, but the figures tell the truth that she has no right to claim to be the centre of Tao'ism.

2. The figures show how little diplomatic support she has. There are eight nations entitled to vote other than India, only one of those eight backed her proposal. Four times as many nations voted against her as for her, including the largest Tao'ist nation on earth. Privately we also know that some of the abstentions, from nations close to India, were from nations who wished to say 'no' but feared invasion. Since the Vampire Queen seized power in India, India's diplomatic position and influence in the world has collapsed.

Justinian nodded "True, very true, but ... a wounded animal will lash out ... now is a time of great danger."

Powhatan watched Metacom's ship arrive back in Native American waters.

He knew Metacom needed to take on supplies for the onward journey to the new settlements and arranged for fresh water, fruit, bison, corn, and maize to be delivered.

The pioneer group came ashore and told of their experience. Their meeting with the Persians, the jungle undergrowth. The initial meeting with Great Guru Bad'Az and how they understood that they would live beside each other peacefully. How Persian horsemen killed Wamsutta and destroyed his village and how they escaped only by agreeing to give up their village for the promise of two new settlements on another new world.

'We have been at sea for some moons' said Metacom 'Any news from Persia of these new settlements?'

Powhatan shook his head.

WORLD NEWS FLASH

Korea wishes to advise the world that the MAD MONK passed to the next world last night. He died peacefully in his sleep.

The High Council of Korea was reformed immediately and they have elected the young Edmund Barton as leader of the Greater Koreas.

Edmund has taken an oath to protect Korea from the Indians and has ordered the doubling of the defences in all Korea Provinces. Korean Navy is to incrreas patrols in Korean waters.

Till the Indians change to a more radical leadership and denoucnes its military aim to convert the world korea will remain on high alert

Delgations have been sent to the English our current Allies to speak of the Indian situation , they speak of not inciting them yet the Indians have shown clearly they will ue force when they feel it is good for india. We need to protect all our borders.

Another delegation is currently in Constantinople speaking to the Byzantine leaders , learning from their military successes.

Edmund Barton himself is heading to the Natives to speak of impriotant matters.

The Mali have written to the Koreans and the diplomatic relations with them are also on tenterhooks.
