1. Most losers haven't even upgraded to 2007 yet.
2. What became of that suit against Office?
3. Will 2010 be as easy to hack as 2007?

It's in public beta. I'm testing it out at work.

Outlook 2010 is awesome.Easily the most improved of the bunch. It looks much sexier, the ribbon is used throughout, and they fixed lots of annoying things that've bothered me for years. For instance, when I'm doing a 'Reply to All' from a message I sent, it'll remove me from the 'To' field.
I also love the new default behaviour in the mail inbox view -- it's a sort of conversation view hybrid between gmail and oldschool mail. By default it'll show the subject on the top line and then a list of people on the email chain below.
When you select it, you can expand the conversation by clicking the arrow that appears next to it. It'll index the messages from the chain across all mail boxes they may be in and display them inline, with a slick little animation to go with it.![]()

1. They're losers. My company's still on 2003. I don't give a **** what IT says. I went rogue on my computer, they can't touch me.
2. Think there's a stay on it, or something. No idea.
3. No idea what you speak of

Excel is rumoured to be better and more accurate. But I guess its charting still sucks.

HTML emails should be banned.![]()

Seriously though, the uproar over that drives me ****ing nuts.
What exactly are people doing in their emails? Constructing incredibly ****ing complicated HTML emails? WTF?
Keep the emails simple. No ****ing stationary, no complicated HTML tables or layouts...just content!
The only possible thing this could impact are spam/newsletter companies who love to **** around filling up my inbox with crap I don't read. Good riddance.
What we need is a simple correspondence XML specifically for email. It could keep track of the embedded conversational hierarchy and information as well as fundamental email formatting, but just the basics. If you want to send complicated HTML, host it on a ****ing web server where it belongs and link it.
