    Apolyton Poker Game

An off-hand comment I made in another thread got me thinking. Who is up for some poker?

I play at www.doylesroom.com. Right now they are offering a deposit bonus of 110% which is pretty nice. Anyway, we could start up a private table, start with, say, $25 buy ins, and play once a week or so.

If we got at least 6 or so people who could commit to this once a week, it could be fun. Anyone interested?

I'm thinking a once a week game. I don't think it's possible to set up a private game on Doyle's Room - I could email the admin and see. OTOH, we could probably just grab the first open 9 handed table we could find, at the stakes we wanted, and play. Eventually, we'd all get in. Anyway, I'm thinking $.25-$.50 NL Hold 'em to start with, but I'm up for raising the stakes up to $2-$5 if enough people are in for that.

I'd be interested, but I thought they were cracking down on online poker sites? Without NetTeller (or whatever it was), how would we make deposits?

intrade's been recommending NetSpend. I don't know if the poker sites take it.

Doyle's Room lets you deposit straight from a debit card. If you're in the US, though, they have to mail you a check when you cash out, takes a week or so.

AustinDave. I am online now playing a $3 turbo tournament. If you want to play I'll bust out and join whatever room you're in. Let me know! I am up for anything up to $2-$5 today.

Can't do it tonight, sadly, but might have time during the weekend.
