I still recommend saving the settler for a better spot. Maybe where one of the razed PAL cities was located. Also we may want to wait a couple of turns. How fast can we create a couple of catapults and get them in position?

I have sent a raiding party of 5 Sword, 1 Axe and a chariot towards Eisenburg.
We have had peace for 10 turns. Pal has two Macemen in Eisenburg.
We still have a reasonable defense in Diggers Burrow as long as Banana keeps the major part of Pal's forces occupied (that is if Pal is still playing).
Two swords and a settler are on the way to settle south of EisenBurg.

Yes, negotiations could take some time.

OK, as I had to replay the turn for the third time I added a catapult to the forces.
And Pal is not playing!

PAL is a sad case. All over everybody when things look good, but first to quit when things turn for the worse.
Perhaps we need to contact Donovan and get a strategy for dismatling PAL and splitting their lands?
"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

Pal is back playing.

If PAL is actively playing, we may want to build up for 5 turns or so. A cuple more catapuklts, spearmen. Maybe.
Yes, negotiations could take some time.
