Beyond the Sword patch not installable!!!

The auto install didn't always work so it would start trying to extract/install the patch and nothing would happen. If you download the patch directly to a patch folder double clicking on it will run the executeable. If you've used the auto update it will be in a folder under CIV somewhere or you can go to various site (including firaxis i think) and download the patch as a standalone file and just double click to install.

However, you need to match the patch to the version of the game you have - DVD/download/UK/US/rest of the world and so on. Most sites label these in a fairly direct way.
