  • Why is there so much porn on the internet?

I'm serious here. We don't need it, yet it's there. What did we do in the days before porn? We survived just fine without it. Why is there this curiosity? it's really nothing new, just different faces. You've seen one sex act, you've seen em all right?

I am left to believe most people are addicted to porn. It's the only answer. I do believe porn is unhealthy and addictive. I've managed to free myself from such addictions (though I did have a relapse a few weeks ago). And I occasionally (once a month or less) watch my porn I have saved. But I don't actively seek out new porn. I wish I could go cold turkey, but I can't. Sometimes I wish I could return to innocence of my youth when just a naked breast would be enough to turn me on. Those days are long gone.

I'm not saying porn is responsible for violent crimes or any such nonsense. I just don't believe it's healthy. Lust can lead to obsession. Beware.

      Point.

      (change "lately" though to "always")

We don't "need" a lot of things, but we do them anyway, because they're fun, like porn, and you might learn a thing or two. In conclusion, porn is a legitimate part of modern popular culture.

I find myself addicted to it also.

Sometimes I go long lengths of time without it, other times I am back to almost every day.

And actually, a site of a breast (or even clothed completely) still turns me on and I don't need porn at all. It is just that I am so use to it that I want it and often remember that it is much better than it really is. Really it is just a fake expenditure because I can't find a mate to make love with.

before porn it was the middle ages, when you were horny, and you had no mules or horses to trade for sex (wife), there were always wars to go to pillage and rape in your free past time...

these days there is porn instead of rape, and shopping instead of pillaging... while we all work like mules to get the privilige of both the sissy way... bring back the good old days

Pron makes money. Almost nothing else on the web has a profit margin at all, but pron has a very high margin. That's why there is so much. Due to the nature of exhibitionists, there would always be some, even if folks didn't pay high fees for it.

It's there because it invented the internet, it's like leftovers.

Every significant technological advancement is a direct product of creating and distributing porn. - FACT! LAW OF THE UNIVERSE!

Do you think Gutenberg was thinking about a Bible when he invented the printing press? No, he was figuring out how to print porn and the Bible just gave him financial backing. Now we are stuck with not only the Bible but all these other literary garbage rags obscuring all the porn from our viewership!

Before the internet was invented, porn was found on railway embankments. To this day, I'm not sure why.

Once, we (us) found black plastic garbage bags full of porn magazines dumped in the forest behind school. Much later I've found out from various sources that forest porn was apparently a widespread phenomenon. Crazy.

                        because porn is good.
Because many people are too defective when it comes to their looks, their psycho etc and can't get laid, while many people are not defective when it comes to their looks and others
can uh get themselves laid watching these undefective ones.

and yes I admit I may be addicted. Hence why I made this thread. I feel bad about it.

It's weird, I have this catholic guilt even though I never really went to catholic church. I think in all I went to church less than 10 or 20 times. But I think it was a leftover from my mother's family. Or maybe I have mormon guilt left over from my father's family. Who knows.

But I feel bad. Because I know porn is objectifying women. but some women I like to see their face splattered with... errr you know. I feel bad about that.

I'd blame that on lack of sex, not porn. I do believe lack of sex is harmful. This is why I don't believe priests should be celibate.

Although you could argue lack of sex leads to porn.

Yet married men watch porn. Something I'll never understand.
