This was but my second game played with aggressive AI. After my first very unsuccessful attempt with aggressive AI, I came into this game with a specific goal, be aggressive, early, and alot! With that in mind, the initial start kinda slowed that down a bit, but I've always liked islands maps, really plays to my builderish tendancies, but a plans a plan, so I declared and subsequently conquered Justinian as quickly as I could. He simply had the misfortune of being one of the weaker, more tech backwards AI's, as well as being easily accessible. The goal was to get a slight land lead, and hopefully go for the conquest win. I started building up a larger army to attack hannibal, just as I was ready to launch on him...Monty decided to declare on me! Oh well, conquered him first, without much difficulty with my slight tech advantage. Followed this up by quickly conquering Carthage, and the Netherlands. At this point, I noticed the year was started to get late, and while my military was unmatched with the island hopping required to get to my desired conquest victory, I wasn't confident of completing my plan before the kinda disapointing time victory, so I focused research and went straight for a space victory, which I beat the AI to without much difficulty due to my large land/population advantage.

Quite enjoyed the game, here's hoping my first submission won't be my last!
