Sorry! This might be a silly question to ask, but I don't really get what is the victory condition available to me as;

Cultural - Accepted but I don't get how to do this as only 2 cities are allowed for cultural boost.
Domination - Not available.
Conquest - Not available.
Time (Score) - Not available.
Diplomatic - Accepted (But never successfully done.)

By the way, I didn't actually had the full concentration while I read this at first, as I was going for the cultural victory and now my game is messed up as I'm pretty close to my 3 cities with very good culture points. You can consider me as a loss as there is no way to turn back now. But I enjoyed this game and would try next time to get it done in the way it's supposed to be.

First, keep playing!
Second, at the risk of generating a "spoiler", I read the word "hemispheres" in the original instructions as being more like "quadrants" or even "continents"?

I'll stop there for fear of talking too much (who knows, I may have screwed my own game with my train of thought... We'll see when the results are posted).

Possibly a PM to Nugog for clarification would help???

OK - firstly - Cultural Victory is one of the two kinds of victorys accepted.

The other is Diplomatic, either through the Apostolic Palace, or through the UN.

I disabled Domination.

Conquest, Space and Time victories are still enabled - to allow the AI to go for those. You as the player may not go for them.

You are allowed more than 2 cities.......................

Let's clear up the Hemisphere/Continent question.

The map is in 4 distinct hemiphers/quadrants. A Top left, Top right, Bottom left and Bottom right.

Each hemisphere or quadrant has at least ONE continent within it.

You must have complete cultural control of at least one hemisphere/quadrant, but not more than two. I know there are many ways this can be interprated (sp?) - I have purposely left this vague to allow individual playing styles. In effect - you must have complete cultural control of the landmasses in one of the hemispheres/quadrants. Your cultural borders must cover all landmasses in this this quandrant/hemisphere.

lordofcivs - keep playing - Cultural victory is accepted, but ensure that you have complete cultural control of at least one, but more than two hemispheres/quadrants.
