wherein:

The setting will be changed to 'New Manhattan' instead of NeoTokyo.

The 'post-apocalyptic' theme will be removed or altered for 'american sensibilities'.

They are taking what remains one of my favourite movies and basically shitting on it.

This will turn a great 'gritty' sci-fi into a frenetic "Speed Racer" excrementory exclamation.
