Use the java chat or

1) Go to www.mirc.com, download mIRC if you dont have it, and install it
2) click on the options button (second from left)
3) click on "Add" button
4) enter the following in the fields
Description: Apolyton
IRC Server: apolyton.net
Port: 6667
and then click on "Add"
4) Fill in the fields: Real Name, E-mail, Nickname, Alternate(in case the first nick is taken) and press "Connect!"
5) mIRC will connect you to the server and the Channels Folder will appear. Type #Apolyton, press "Add" to store it, and then press "Join".
You're in!

thanks for the clarification. I'd hate to think you were dissing something that I spent a considerable amount of time working on.

and our web chat as currently in place is broken, feel free to negatively feed back that We're not going to fix it until we do vb3, though, so don't waste your breath suggesting we do

I have the same thing happen when ever I write something too

That's because it's not a freeware program... this will of course not be the case in vb3
