This is a large map but it gets filled up quickly. I'm playing a Great Plains map in single player and I have no idea how the AI expands so quickly and STILL gets way ahead in technology. And I'm only playing on Noble . . . .

I'm mostly getting lions chasing my scouts - and the villages are only yielding gold, not techs. Still, the money will be useful. Also I've just met my first AI. Nice chap. Then again he probably thinks that of me.
