Apparently it's hard to get ahold of brand new consoles for refurbishments due to the holiday retail buildup.

Amazon has been selling HDMI 360s for a while (it does specify HDMI). To be fair shipping would have been about $20.

Wrong answer - the correct one is that the Xbox 360 line-up has a good spread of games in different genres - Forza 2, Oblivion, GH2, PGR3, NHL08, Eternal Sonata and C&C3 for instance all well regarded games with consistently high scores. And 'shooters' are not really alike anyway. There's a big difference between a cover based TPS (like Gears) and Halo 3 (more standard FPS), and hybrids like Bioshock.

It's not fluid, it's twitchy -- like every other Wii game I've played. It's not a software thing, it's a cheap hardware and bad IR-based design thing.

I'm up to level 5 and it's fun so far but I'm not being blown away like with, say, the Gears campaign. I'll post more complete thoughts when I'm done and have tried co-op, which looks great.Originally posted by Wiglaf

Plus, as I said there is variety between shooters as well, which undermines your argument further. Halo, Bioshock, RSV and Gears are all very different games.
I think those games have much higher sales than the others. I am just saying that it's interesting most popular games involve shooting crap.

I believe MS extended the warranties on all XBox360s some time ago, to a couple of years, due to the RING OF DEATH or whatever.
