I have a "connected to host" message, but the game won't load the turn. I bet Dacole forgot to press ok when he reconnected the pitboss or something. I've had this same thing with one of Snoopy's servers as well and that was the reason.

Forgot to hit OK when he saved the game, more likely. The Pinchak theory is also possible, though I know that the first idea definitely causes this (not hitting OK on a save).

actually it wasn't pinchak, it was me. we have each others passwords and mostly one person plays both turns.
wanting to play his turn it started loading the turn and suddenly stopped. maybe it was my internet connection, maybe it was some lost packets along the way or maybe it was the PTBS server. ... or maybe it was pure coincidence.
either way, the turn never finished loading!

yes this was the most recent save. The power went out here when I was at work at least I came back and my clock was flashing and the game was down. I have not logged into the game for ever so I have no idea how my team is doing..I expect not well as we were not before.

Geo is a F'ing cheater. He's using double moves in order to help his war effort. This is complete BS. I want him out of the game. There was more than 22 hours left on the clock when he pulled his latest stunt. As a matter of fact, he logged in one minute before I did this turn. He had not made the "double" move before I logged in. He saw that I had logged and then still made the double move claiming that enough time had past since he last played. What a crock. This A'hole needs to get a clue as to what fair play is. Maybe he's just a kid, I don't know, but I don't care either. Either way, he needs to grow up and play fairly or not play at all.
I demand that he move his Great General led Army back to where it was before he did the double move as well as disband one of his Caravels as I would have been able to counter attack and kill his damaged Caravel before he had the chance to use a double move to cover it with other ships.

You got your stack killed because you were greedy. You think you know how to play the game but you do not. You rely on cheating to now give you an edge.
There's no fiction to what I said. You plain and simply pulled a double move when it would benefit you most.
1. You had troops that were going to be trapped and killed; so you used a double move to get them out of it.
2. You had one Caravel in range to attack one of my Triemes. I had one Trieme to counter that attack right next to it. You attacked my Trieme, won with 0.9 health left. If you had not "double" moved I would have been able to counter with my Trieme. INstead, you used your double move to pull 2 Triemes and another Caravel on top of you damged Caravel saving him from my counter-attack.
That, loser, is cheating. That is using a double move to gain an advantage for yourself where none had existed unitl you made such a move.
I understand fully why you did it. You saved your troops/ships from destruction. It's not hard to see, really.
But, still, you are a cheater. These are strong words for the like-wise strong actions you took in-game.

Well, then just ask Dacole (or any independent judge) to load the previous turn, I'll gladly give him my password so he can check for himself what's true of your story and what's not. Then I'll also put the log of when I finished my turn today compared to the time yesterday. Still so sure about yourself, mate?
O yes, fyi, those chased units retreat is in a move queue.And if you would be calm enough to check your battle logs, you would notice that the caravel attack was this turn, with all those other ships within range to cover it.
IF that is true, about the ships being in range, then you are once again employing double moves, only it was last turn you did it.
Last turn that I played (before this) thos ships were not in range. In order for them to be in range you must have logged in, made some moves, logged out, then I had my turn, then you logged in and made more moves before the turn actually ended.
Any way you add it up Geo, you made "double" moves and your "double-talk" to cover it up is nonsense. You cheated and that's all there is to it.
Um - sounds like we better get this resolved before we move on. Not sure dacole is around. I have been playing his turns the last while. I will pm him and see if I have his email as well.
I cannot comment at all on the events. I can say that generally it is accepted that double moves are NOT to be used to obtain an adavantage with a declaration of war - or during a war. But, as with the others in this game, we are obviously in the dark as to the exact facts.
We can have dacole check - but he is also a player in this game. We could ask an independent 3rd party.

Just keep running around with a blindfold mate, eventually you'll hit a wall. Those 4 ships were visible to you for the last 3 turns since they were in your territorium or adjacent to it so you had a good look on them. You had every opportunity to monitor their moves. None could sneak upon you unexpected.
Oh, and since you complain so much about double moves and not hitting enter and such:

And for the boats, you only have Egyptian triremes in that city, so your story of "about to attack my damaged caravel when I suddenly moved other units over it for protection and while I knew you were online" while you were logged in as the Celts is bullshit.
All in all, I bet you're confusing things with the replay we had to do last turn.

I didn't end the turn this time around because I would like for it to be reloaded from before you double moved. There's no sense in playing through the turn at this point for me unitl we get this settled. And by "settled" I mean you either quit the game or we reload and you do not get to perform double moves.
The Triemes you picture are in fact one that was one tile belwo yoour stack at the beinging of this turn and one that was just built this turn in that city. The 3rd is one you killed and then covered with your other units using double moves.
Quit denying it; you used double moves to avoid and make better your overall situation. That is not acceptable. You sir are a cheat.
BTW, I am playing 2 civs, that is why I have to log out and log back in to play the other Civ.

If there is a way that an independent checker can verify claims, then let's get that underway so as to resolve this as quickly and possible. I don’t know anyone who could do this, nor the mechanics of it.
In the meantime, we must keep things civil chaps. Swearing and personal attacks only demonstrates immaturity.

You are definately misreading it. I have to play two Civs with mrboo123 being AWOL.
The play order during our war has been that I play first at the begining of a new turn. On the turn in question Geo moved first; since he had moved after I did on the previous turn and then moves first on the subsequent turn makes it a "double-move" on Geo's part.
The play order has changed numerous times, however, as it always will since timing is never perfect. The turn before you played immediately; the turn before that you played after Geo did (it's fallen off civstats since I first noted it, but you can look it up in the player lists if you are curious). The play order changed at least twice during the period I was covering for geo...
You both logged in within one minute of each other... that's simultaneous as far as I'm concerned.
