One of the more useful uses of the Tech forum, in my opinion, is to provide a place for Poly folk to read up on what is the best (whatever) out there, be that HDD, plasma TV, laptop, etc.
In this spirit, and also in the spirit of the good old fashioned debates that make Poly so fun, I'd like to encourage threads on "The best XYZ" out there. I'll create a few to start off with, but I'd like to see other people come up with threads beyond what I create
Please avoid turning this into a sillyfest, ie no "Best (insert pornographic device here)" ... and limit it to classes of device (ie, hard drive, or internal / external HDD, but not "best SATA 2.0 150GB internal HDD").
I'll put links to useful threads in this thread, so they stay available to the community at large without having a billion topped threads (as much as I love topped threads... )
