I have an account at poker room, but they limit their free play to late night/morning. I didn't get mad enough to join another site when they did that to accommodate the real money players since I play late nights anyway. Oh yeah, I play Omaha hi low. I've started playing the hold em tables but I've always liked playing low ball games. My buddy won $10,000 in Gardena Cal by hitting a 6-4 and losing He pulled out this wad of $100 bills and he was really nervous when we saw him, he thought thugs followed him home from the casino

It just kills my soul to lose. The effect is much more than the high I get from winning. I just can't take it.

free sites are mostly adware and also kids play on them who do not know how to play poker. i recommend downloading the demo of poker academy professional which lets you play online for free against more serious opponents than most sites. also it is adware-free . you might even end up buying the software (its like $20 for home edition and about $120 for the overpriced "pro" BS) to use in single-player.

I may get it, but it won't cost me that price.

How do you get Poker Academy non-pro (the $20 version)? I only see the $129 version, which isn't interesting to me I might pay $20 or $30 though.

                      buy here: http://www.amazon.com/Poker-Academy-.../dp/B000B6OBPS

some useful reviews are on that page too. I can't find the v 2 site at the moment, which is odd, might be down for a while. google poker academy v2 for more info. it's basically the same software with one or two features removed and the most advanced ai bots aren't available. I think it's still very good though.

As far as I can tell you have to buy a box version of non-pro... the pro site says so anyway

I may, or I may not. I like purchasing my software for download.
